Things Bubu Doesn't Know I Noticed
  • Your nose turns red when you cry. Every single time. I don't know how.
  • Every time you stare at me, I notice — I just look away on purpose so I don't disturb you. Your face in those moments is the whole reason I look away, not the reason I look somewhere else.
  • When a strand of your hair falls loose, I can't leave it. I have to reach over and tuck it behind your ear. Every time.
